Graphtec has a great solid Illutrator plug-in called Cutting Master for the Mac or Pc. I've been using it for 3 years now and have no complaints. This is my second Graphtec and I'll buy another if ever needed. I'd recommend Advantage Sign Supply too. Excellent bunch there.

Viny on static shrinks at different rates. Don't do it and expect it to stay flat. That goes for cheap and high performance vinyl.

You need to switch the Language on the Graphtec from HP-Gl to GP-GL or visa versa. Hit Menu>next>next>interface>Command to switch it.

I would check your settings on the Graphtec menus instead. At least on the Mac, the page setup is totally irrelevant as to what plots.

Hold down the option (alt on pc) key and start dragging any direction you want. If you want to constraing it to 90, 45 etc, hold the shift key at the same time.

Look under Window>Transform and that will give you the transform pallet. Select your object and it's dimensions will show up there. Change your width from whatever to 8" and hit Command>Return to scale it proportionatly. That's control>return if your on a pc.

Brian, Graphtec has their own downloadable Illustrator plug in called Cutting Master. It works great. Search their web site.
