Budget...what's that?
Everything is paid as it comes in the door- mostly by credit card (I get
4-6 free plane tix a year) and that is paid every month without fail.
So... if there is money in the account- it is mine. Not recommending this-
but I have been in biz for myself since 1979 and it...
So... has Avery started warrantying their products? Serious- after all
the bad PR for years- is there evidence that they have flopped over a
new leaf? I have never used Avery, but have heard much.
I have never had any luck with gradients in flexi- if you make a block of
2 colors and then do a gradient from one color to the other and compare
to the 2 original colors they will not match when printed- they will on your
monitor tho. I think I have imported the colors to AI or PS and made a...
I'm afraid that this may be the new reality- everyone laid off personnel
and is reluctant to hire- just flog the remaining help to try to keep up.
And this goes many layers deep- their suppliers did the same thing. This
is going to take some time to correct- if ever. We did the same thing-...
I actually have diamonds that I align the media rollers one for 30"
and 54" positions so that I get them the same each time. Haven't
had any problems. Gene
I would love to- we stay at the Sommersett Suites by Scripps Mercy Hosp but I always rent a car and we roam over the whole area. Where are you located? I am
semi familiar with the area- been coming to SD since my daughter (my partner) was 13- and she is 42 now. My email is gene@abcsignshop.com
Very happy to say that I have been contacted by our resident Roland
guru Robert Ozankan almost immediately! Yay! I rebooted the station
and it seems to be OK- printing the last panel now, stress level is coming
down- only an hour to Beer O'clock. Gene
Do a search- this has been covered many times- I think it is usually the pad on the
capping station swelling up enough to touch the head when parked and wicking the
ink out. Gene
Problem revisited
OK- having the same problem on another wrap- 10th panel of the 10 panel
cube van. Enclosing some pictures- note that the gradient (white to purple)
is wacked in VW also. I have restated VW and the printer (VP540) and it
just prints about a 4inch stripe of the panel- the...
I have been doing a logo supplied by a customer for years on my edge
( running another $400 worth of Hardhat decals now :loveya:) and it
got me to wondering how I could extract the Gerber halftone for use
on my VP540. This halftone prints on light gold 220 and sometimes I have
to scale it...
Robert- I would like to welcome you to Signs101- I have always thought
that more mfrs could benefit from having representation on reputable
sign boards (for instance the very knowledgeable and helpful Tony from
Gerber Scientific) and I hope that this will be a fruitful relationship for all...
I am interested in how 3M crosses over to Orajet also so I looked in the
literature I have and could not find anything so I contacted 3M via their
chat feature and they indicated that this would not be a good product
to go over rivets. I was thinking it would compare to 3551RA which Orajet...
