I modified the font "Landsdowne" for Sterling and the rest is in ARB 44 Chicago Modern.
Thanks for the suggestion Colin, I think I like your idea the best so far.
Yeah the fonts just do not mix well together when in line at all but I'm also not fond of separating them like that either. I don't feel like the Sterling side works when it stands alone like that.
Signmeup I considered doing what you suggested as well but 1) I was a bit worried about...
I'm trying to figure out the best way to rework my logo so that it's longer/skinnier for certain projects. I've come up with a few examples so far. Any input would be appreciated.
The very top example is the original, untampered logo.
Ahh yeah I didn't even consider that for some reason. I've decided on using the formula I saw someone post on here recently (max-min) + min*area...so $15+$5 per sq. ft. So this will put me closer to $7 sq. ft. for the smaller stuff like 2'x4' banners.
For those of you I've seen claiming to charge a flat rate on banners, say for instance $7/sq. ft, do you still charge the same price on something as big as say 5'x20'? It seems odd to me to charge the same sq. ft. pricing on a 3x8 as you would for such a big banner. I called and found out...
Nah, not under the table. I actually would be paying her $10 per hr, I figured $12 would cover that stuff. Am I right or do you think it would be more?
So I've already established my shop rate to be $45/hr. Right now I have no employees but I'll be hiring someone pretty soon and I'm wondering exactly how this will affect my shop rate. That's based on putting in 25 billable hours per week.
Hiring said employee is going to cost me about...
The reason it seems that nothing is happening in flexi is because the image is not dark enough. Flexi will only draw out dark objects. What you could do is go to bitmap > filters > level and then move the left arrow from 0 up to something like 200 so that it darkens up the rope part of the...
Okay I'm gonna wet sand it then. Now I just have to come up with a design...Expect some more posts as I go through the process of designing/wrapping. I've got a 95 thunderbird with the same paint problems as well which I plan to wrap.
I want to do a partial wrap on my vehicle but the surface is really bad. I attached a couple pics for you to see. Is there something I can do without investing a lot of money. Something simple like wet sanding or applying some cheap wax or primer 94?. I don't really care if it messes up the...
Okay, next question. Let's say I charge $x per sq ft on a normal 3x8 banner. How much do you suggest I charge for a banner such as this? Square footage is the same (just measured and I'm actually making it 16' long) but there's going to be waste since my smallest roll is 30". Also, I'll be...
I'm going to make a 15'x1' banner which will be hung on the ends between 2 poles and I'm wanting to know the best way to go about making it. Would a 13 oz banner hold up with just grommets on the ends or do I need to run a rope through the hem or something?
Hmm not sure why I didn't think to flip the colors like that for the phone number. That's a good idea and probably what I'll go ahead and do. Thanks guys.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to do my pole sign. I'm probably going to have to splice it unless I send the job out to someone with a bigger printer. The sign is about 54" tall and I can only print 52". So, should I try to hide the splice in the middle of the text (what an old...
