  2. Problem with Transit Connect

I'm thinking the problem is in your prep. Did you clean the surface with an alcohol based cleanser? (we use denatured alcohol) It looks like your last step was just prep-all & water, and water does not take off oil-based products which may be contaminating the surface like armor-all, wax, etc...
  3. Hemming (tape) a 4' x 14' Banner

Seems like a average time to me, 4x14 isn't really that big. Thankfully we have a 5x12 table along with a 4x10 table. Using 60" material on a 48" table sucks.
  4. How to cut paper rolls

You would need a roll slitter/slicer. Check your local sign supply vendors they may have one. One local here charges a small fee to slit rolls.
  5. sequential number printing on 20,000 brochures?

The problem lies in the quantity of brochures. A run like this would be printed on an offset printing press. But, that requires plates for each color & would not allow variations between brochures. If it was printed offset, then you would have to run the "finished" product back through a B/W...
  6. Anyone know a supplier for camo rockers??

Possibly this? http://www.thoroughbreddiesel.com/stampede/rocker-panels.htm I think the key is identifying the pattern used & then who sells/licenses that product in "rocker guard" form. It looks like the Matthews Pattern, or Lost Camo per GIS.

  9. Looking for arrhythmia line

Here is a proof of a recent ambulance; it has an arrhythmia in it if you can pull it out of there. But, I would assume your dept has a different one.
  10. Anyone know a supplier for camo rockers??

from the pic it looks wrapped...?
  11. Looking for arrhythmia line

EVERY one that I use is unique to the customer/department, you're going to have to get a photo of the customer's existing arrhythmia pattern & trace it. Just cut 20 out for new ambulances today... Also - the pattern ONLY goes one way; no matter what side of the truck it's on & MikePro &...
  12. Anyone know a supplier for camo rockers??

Photos? Is it a copyrighted camo pattern (ie mossy oak, etc) or a generic camo?

  16. Chevron on a Roll Up Door

Chevrons on roll-up doors are usually done as one-piece here & then the slits are cut afterwards; top and bottom. If you're used to roll-up door installs the cuts are a breeze, if not getting the proper amount trimmed off can be the difference between success and failure of the product, but...
  17. Tim at Gemini

I had a great experience with them just the other day; ordered a complete large set of letters, but the customer received no "V" letters, called them up & the "V"s were here the next morning. Nothing but great customer service from them, ever; wish my other vendors were that easy to deal with!
  18. Font IDq

Looks like Eurostile, alternating between caps & regular case. But, the "S" looks different.
  19. Aggressive Adhesive

Late night, covert sign theft? Sounds like his competition is pissed he's taking their business. I don't think there's a "coroplast ring" taking those $.50 blanks & spending hours removing lettering & adhesive. I would just take a sharpie & put "property of xyz" on the back. Print a picture...
  20. Aggressive Adhesive

No one is stealing them to reuse them... People are taking them because they do not like the looks of them in their neighbors yard and the local "sign police" (KY DOT around here) are collecting them, as they are a "nuisance" sign. I've only VERY rarely seen one or two stolen by people for...
