I print a PMS chart on each of the materials I use the most, and still I see color differences. Most customers will not notice 2%-5% color shifts, really depends on the application.

+++I used to do the ol' krylon airbrushed look back in the late 80's early 90's. I would just print it and be done with it, sub the printing if you can't do it in house.
Practice, I go off the center fold line, and place the name four fingers down, hen loading on our screen press I have center line drawn on the platen so I go off those. BTW, not all shirts are sewn 100% straight.....w
I use the anchors, just don't over tighten if the mortor is soft. In soft mortor I put some liquid nail in the hole first, don't think it does much but makes me feel a little better.
I have had issues with covering magnetic sign with full prints. I think the film shrinking makes the mag curl. I still do it this way, they are just magnets designed for temporary use.

If a customer wanted to find out material cost it would be pretty easy to do, not just this web site. that way with anything, there are ways to find out how much stuff really costs.
