I have not done it but I did watch a tech change out mine.
It didn't seem to hard. Looking into the manual it lays it out step by step.
I think you do need a special tool/jig (PG height checking jig (VJ): JD-42806) from Mutoh to set the head to the proper height.

Some times small errors can lead to no win situations.
Stand up for yourself but keep your personal feelings out of it.

I think this is right.
Think I have done it a few times myself, along with sending a cut file to the office desktop printer - lots and lots of pages of "secret" code.

If it is a foot or more & cast we cut it off before laminating, keep it clean and run scraps through the printer all the time. We do a bunch of little one-offs for the gas station forecourt areas here and the scraps are a good fit. There never seems to be enough time (client can't wait) to hold...

I found an issue with their 290GF that I wanted to put up to the list here.
I'm checking my records to make sure it is the product that I used before I post.
Before this I have had nothing but good results with their cast lam and intermediate vinyl (not used together)...
