I am having an issue with Flexi not finishing printing. Happens about every other job....it prints to the end and the last 1/2" or so it stops printing. Production Manager shows job is done, printer shows it is still in progress. Anyone else had this issue? I am on Flexi 10.5.1 PDF RIP and...

Flexi 10.5.1 handles PSDs wonderfully, with transparencies. Also lets you apply contour cut and when you do so, it acts as a mask as well. Very handy.

Get a PCR Roller and Pad set. Best thing invented for the sign industry.

I just printed a test swatch of solid colors....red, blue, green, black, yellow....ran it at standard w-pass.....came out as solid as you can get on inkjet. SO it must be the file....turns out this image (from the customer) is actually a masked bitmap (letters are a gradient blue). So i figure...

Just did bi-directional calibration. All is good there. Same profile for this vinyl that we've been using forever. Ran this same print through Flexi rip and same results. Something is not right on this printer.

Suddenly having serious banding issues, on most all solid colors. Have done cleanings, heads are all firing correctly that I can tell, and get this darker/lighter banding on high speed, standard, or high quality. Anyone got any ideas or having the same issues? It is noticeable on everything, but...

Don't get a VinylExpress Q54. Ours is about to go back to SW. Display out again, contour cutting is crap. Not pleased.

No...not that either. I ended up reinstalling Flexi fresh, and seems to be working ok. It still popped up with permissions crap, so I did more digging and discovered it was setting full control for Admin, but not the main user (me...which also has admin rights). So I changed the ownership to me...

No updates installed....I have updates off. Just wiped every trace of Flexi off and reinstalled. Currently replacing my backed up templates, jobfiles, swatches. etc. so will see if that did the trick. However I see the blue and yellow shield on the Flexi icon....is that normal? I don't remember...
