  1. question for shop who make 3m$/year

Maybe they Run 3M products all year, or the run 3 Mil. thickness material all year. Actually "M" means thousand, so I even sell more than those guys.
  2. Calendered or Cast?

I've never used cast vinyl on race cars unless I'm out of stock on calandered. I don't know any type of racing that people's cars or graphic designs outlast the vinyl.
  3. New Logo For new Company

I've never posted my logo on this site. I think because in some ways I don't want to second guess my design anymore than I already did. When people post their designs here I assume they painstakingly looked over hundreds of fonts, spacing, colours, logos etc, and when they finally decide what...
  4. What Hammer Drill do I Buy

I sold tools for 12 years including Makita, Milwaukee, DeWalt, Porter Cable, and Bosch. Although each brand has it's strengths depending on what tool you are looking for. For hammer drills I would go with either Milwaukee or Bosch. I would stay away from Dewalt, as I've never liked their tools...

  6. ever heard of this guitarist?

That's very impressive. I'm sending it to a friend who always complains that I can play well and he can't because my fingers are longer than his, not becasue of practice practice practice.
  7. I don't know nothin about sailboats and also font help

Totally agree. The curve looks like the boat has motion. Leave the original artwork be. Looks like I was beat in posting a picture of a hoisted storm jib to show that the foot can be at quite a sharp angle to the deck. All this sailing talk is making me miss my boat. Still over 100 days...
  8. Roland SP-300V

I bought one last April. It too was in excellent shape and very lightly used. I had looked online for several months all over Canada and the US and found a range from 6-10 thousand for units that the sellers claimed were in great working order. I would say if you are confident you are getting...
  9. SteveC schooled me on my new Ovation

If JJ Cale were dead, he would have rolled over in his grave with that version. If picking's your thang. I've posted John Butler here before, but this one is pretty good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeCMvApKrXc
  10. What to do when a long time customer uses a competitor

First. I would be wary that the third hand info on the price is accurate. Second. A "relationship" in business is not monogamous. They always have other options. Third. Refusing work in the future. Really? Why? Fourth. If you are that sensitive about it. Stop by and see the client. Tell him...
  11. Gonna make one of these this week...

A chainsaw up and down along the skid parts makes faster work of them. Four cuts per pallet and you're done.
  12. SteveC schooled me on my new Ovation

Just watched the clip and I gotta say. Too many notes makes it sound sloppy and technical. Not that the guys not good, but I didn't feel it. For me it's the space between the notes that gives goosebumps.
  13. SteveC schooled me on my new Ovation

It's always cool to hear someone else play your own guitar, especially if the rock. Found a crack in the top of Martin this week. Not too happy:frustrated: Guess, I'll buy a humidifier, although a little late

  19. eco sol max ink life span?

I have been using 3551 with 210 lam with my eco-sol inks. They seem to have a close match in lifespan for most outdoor signage. I've only been in the printing side for 8 months, but I expect to get 4 years minimum out of the combination.
  20. Keeping the coals glowing...what inspires you this time of year?

Steve Jobs articulated best for me, but I am proud to have lived this way for most of my life. What motivates me is "Remember you are going to die" It may also help put money back on the list a little where it belongs.
