  1. Suggestions for Laminate Material

On a post I made a while back about issues with my Oracal 210 Lam having too thin of a backing for "The Big Squeegee" to push it out of the way while applying I received a suggestion for using 3M 8509 instead. Well, I used up my 210 and need to reorder. I am looking for suggestions again...

  3. Cutting Misaligned 1/2" Entire Print

I found the older posts regarding this and tried cleaning the enocder strip, switching the main power on and off, but it's still off. I also have always cut at 15 cm/sec with 130 downforce which has worked well in the past. It's a 60 degree blade, but that should not matter, as the cut is a...
  4. Cutting Misaligned 1/2" Entire Print

I have searched the archives, and although I remember reading about a similar problem, I could not find it in my searches. I need some suggestions on how to diagnose a problem with my Roland Versacamm SP300V. My contour cutting is off about a 1/2" to the right and 1/8" off below my prints. I can...

  7. Need Help With Roland Crop Marks

Nevermind. I'm an idiot! Maybe if I added contour lines it would work better. That's what happens when you spend a week in Jamaica.
  8. Need Help With Roland Crop Marks

I am running Flexi 8.6v2. I have a new computer and am re-setting up my software as I had it before. I installed the Oracal profile I needed, but I can not remember how to get the option to show "print only" , "cut only" or "hybrid job" which also would allow me to select "print Roland...
  9. Tshirt / Printing method recommendations...??

I hope these shirts are not for men. If so, you should organize an intervention and suggest to the customer that the 80's were over a loooong time ago.
  10. I am losing my best friend

Hope all goes well with your friend. Keep us posted on his recovery. My Rabbit, Winston, was sick a week ago, and I was devistated. He ended up fine. He is my first pet, at 37 years old (me, not Winston) I am amazed at how much we rely on them for positive energy. For my whole life I was...
  11. Music on YouTube

Thanks Fred. The Chapin clip just inspired me to pick up my guitar. Unfortunately, these clips makes me want to put it down and take up the triangle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHtwF-gpluc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VAkOhXIsI0 ...yes, the high G string is missiing on the...
  12. Having troubles with bubbles & wrinkles?

Bought two this summer and was able to put off buying a laminator until next spring due to space issues. Found it a little pricey for what it is, so there was no warm fuzzy feeling with the purchase, but I can't complain about the product. It does what it says it does for laminating and masking.

  15. Brands of the World

I also have used the site. Often for the company I'm making a logo for. I have gotten it easier from BOTW then getting it from the client. The problems arise when selling Harley Davidson and Nike decals on e-bay.

  18. Cutting laminated prints

I have been having good luck with my SP-300V running at 15" / sec. with 130 downforce for laminated media. 1 Pass. The secret to finding a good combination to cut is the same as tire pressures for racing: Use a starting point and then make large jumps in adjustments, otherwise you will spend...
  19. Things to consider if you buy Christmas presents

Personally I choose not to celebrate Christmas, as I think it is a joke to try and tie this holiday to any religeous event, no matter which one you may recognize, but I received this email today and thought it had some great ideas for shopping for gifts. Of coarse feel free to swap your home...
  20. BN20 vs sp300v

I bought a used SP300V in May and I love it. It is my first printer. I cannot comment on other machines, so I may not be much help but I can certainly vouch for the Roland. Also, it seems like there's a lot of them out there, which means a lot of advice on this forum if you have a problem. I...
