So you print and then just sit there in the trailer twiddling your thumbs waiting for it to dry so you can laminate it? I thought the whole idea was to not waste time.
I'm confused! I get the whole thing with doing mobile cut vinyl but what good is bringing a printer with you? Don't you wait for the ink to dry before you give it to a customer? What about laminating? Someone please explain!
Oh ok what the heck... I dont know about you all but when I figure out my pricing (which I reevaluate at the beginning of every year) I figure out my yearly operating costs from the previous year, break that down to monthly costs and so on. Part of my overhead operating costs is buying squeegees...
That is exactly what I meant, just build it in with the price don't add it on. That is what is needed to provide a finished banner so it is all in the price.
I'm not even going to bother getting into charging for squeegees. lol
13oz gloss or matte, price includes hems and grommets.
I cant see charging extra for hems and grommets when they are part of a finished banner. That would be like going to a painter to get your house painted and he tells you it will cost extra for him to use a brush, otherwise he will just use...
I never get much from my customers :-( but I send something out every year to my better customers. Usually cookies or a wine basket or something. For the smaller scale customers I send out a card.
ok so I printed some perf the other day but my rip messed it up so I had to reprint it. I still have the messed up one here and I have a client that wants to do their back window with a solid black perf.
Can I use the messed up print and just print solid black over the top of it? Anyone ever...
Nah, I'm just bustin your chops. I take lunch break most days.
Of course I make loads of money, this is the easiest business in the world! Put a sign out front and the billions just roll right in the door...lol
