Dude, call where you bought the machine from. Mutoh DEFINATLY works with Flexi. I have one myself and I used it w/ Flexi 8. It was not easy though, so I had a tech from where I bought the machine from walk me through it. You gotta assign an IP address, use the proper ICC profiles... yada yada...

I just had mine replaced as well. Wait for the tech. It's still under warranty, don't void it.

Hard to beat CoCut Pro if you're just cutting. I run Flexi now with my printer and cutter combo. I have a backup plotter though all ready to go with CoCut. And don't feel bad about the tape dispenser. I still haven't got one and I have had to tape out stuff 10' or so all the time! It's still...

Now you've done it Dude, you don't know jack diddly squat about the sign biz. It's a cross between art and production. You might know some basic prices and color options, but the sign biz is complicated, and I take offense at you thinking you know it all. Sorry if some people can't help you...

If I can still continue to get parts and support, then cool. I will probably upgrade in a couple of years to a larger model anyways, and keep the Mutoh running exclusively banners or something like that. I can definatly see why you would want atleast 2 printers up and running.

I got a package from them about 7 weeks ago. Still going a little rough working the printer, but everything else is going fine. It was my first printer, and it has been paying off BIG time. Never figured I could run the printer 8 hours straight every day.....

Sure he does. Everyone has their talents and some stuff that they can't do. Don't forget that some newbies may have problems just learning how to start up their plotter. Everyone has more to learn. And yes, that means you too Shovelhead.:biggrin:
