    We had the same problem with our graphtec fc 8000...turns out the blade did not spin freely in the blade holder.. Test it out by taking it out and trying to spin the blade around with your finger...there should be no resistance whatsoever. Of course I take no responsibility for you cutting...

    Its an RS-640. It has two power buttons, one is subpower..the on button The other is the physical rocker switch in the back. Do we need to leave it on or turn it off at the end of the day? I know some printers perform maintenance or some such at night.

    We just bought a used....Versaart rs 640 at the SGIA expo in New orleans. We got it in..It had cleaning fluid in the lines. I used a Syringe to pull the ink to the dampers and filled them. It wont print CMY. So basically we have an expensive Greyscale printer. Why wouldn't the ink come through...
