the designer is overworked as it is (and not used to digital)...much easier for her to put them all in one file...its really never that bad for me to get it to work like I say just frustrated
but I'll start hinting at it
Maybe I just can't grasp its subtle usefulness but versaworks clip and tile pains me greatly...
Yeah I understand it is just trying to help and it was designed by people much smarter than me....but for example I've got 20 signs on one file and for some reason I can't move a slider how I want it...
Well we're officially moving out of 3m now--the product is great, the company is too greedy
its not enough to manufacture everything that I see on my desk, but now to try to take our work...geez
Thanks for the heads up
It will roll the media out like that when a combination of the sheet/roll buttons get pressed.
From your description thats the only thing I can discern...
Sheet cut?
Is there setting somewhere for the machine to automatically retract the banner material that you pull out the front each time when you load it?
Or is it just manual pressing the button to retract it
Update
After a medium cleaning, I ran the test again and it looked like the magenta was running out toward the end of the 4x4 square
Took it apart and the damper is 3/4 full and the Cartridge should be at least half full...
hmmmmm
So what does this mean...
I made a file with each cmyk color and test printed it after seeing banding on a red print.
there is only banding on the magenta print head...does that mean its going bad or what?
Roland Versa art 640
:thankyou:
so after watching the videos I'm not sure which to buy...looks like the laminator one was most useful, but the cut vinyl one was supposedly better...
which would be best for masking/applying digital prints? Take the laminate out of the equation
At my old shop we got a falcon outdoor junior for 2k...it was in bad shape and we spent 2 weeks trying to get it running right (it was in storage and they didn't clean out the ink) SO the heads were crap and lines took forever to clean, needed new dampers..we taught ourselves so much about the...
So I was crankin out some signs today and realized something....my knuckles on my right hand are shiny and smooth as all get out...
Anyone else have this condition? If you don't you're not holding your squeegie right ;)
This is a test of uploading jpg actual size...(within .3 inches) ;)
I'm more on the production side of things so excuse me if this doesn't work out

cover it all in perforated vinyl
did a mexican restaurant like this and it was pretty neat...Each big window had a authentic mexican scene like people dancing or cutting agave
best one was the giant corona and beach scene on the exit door
sorry no pics, previous employer
a concealed knife can do much more damage than a gun..I think here in America 6.1 out of 100000 might just deserve it. (im sorry)
Either way it comes down to your enthusiasm about it, and it is Texas...He didn't point it at you or anyone else did he?
:wavingflag:
Oh please someone post...
We have a Roland RS640 and it prints amazing in all modes...(I can't recommend this printer enough)
We just had a bunch of yard signs that are one color that the customer needs fast (lotta weeding if cut)..there is no noticeable difference except less ink usage on the estimator ;)
It was an...
