Outline vehicles are great for designing but are not accurate when it comes to moldings, lights, badges and window sizes.
Always take measurements off of the actual vehicle for accurate final designing when going in production.
Only perforated vinyl i laminate is for vehicles.
For storefronts i will premask the print. Squeegee it down with a regular plastic squeegee and remove the premask.
Done and done.
Oh god when Illustrator imports the text format from an old version and each letter is an individual text line :frustrated:
For my workflow. I use Versaworks and it will only import .eps format for a vector file. I prefer (or am used to) working files as .ai.
I end up saving two formats...

These are my working files. (Also my only bargaining chip for the client to stay with me).
In giving away my files i am helping my client for a smoother transition away from me. I sure as hell don't want that.

I still consider it more an annoyance than a problem.
It's not like you have to re-type a job everyday.

You can also attach extensions to the digging bit if you need to go deeper than 36"
Just looked at the rates and it's 85.00$ per day or 300.00$ for a week.
Probably cheaper where you are.
Roland Cut Studio user here. This problem entered my mind when i learned of the new Illustrator being available.
Will wait to see what others are experiencing with the upgrade.
Looks like you have to wait until October for a compatible version.
