Why can't you just create your box, draw your weed line, and weld it to the text. By doing the weld it will not cut through your letters. just my .02

Yes I did but deleted it as it caused me some headaches. I even had to reload X-3 because of it.

Jester, I tried that also and it opens with the program I ask it to but when I close it and go back into it, it still wants to open with X-3. I even tried saving the doc in word as a word document and it still has the X-3 icon and wants to open with X-3.

Thanks for the input I will take a look at it, but I have never had this problem before. Any attachments I saved would be saved in the format that they needed to open in, but for some reason they all want to open with X-3.

For some reason whenever I save any attachment from an email it wants to open with Corel. (If its a PDF, Word, Excel it still wants to open in X-3) I am not sure how to change it or why it is setup this way. Can anyone help in fixing it.

So it looks good while in a .cdr file but when you export it to .eps all H#$L breaks loose! I thought this would help. I am in Fl and don't have my laptop to see how it reacts on my system, hopefully someone like Jackpine or Shovel will chime in. I am curious to see what is causing it.

Phillip, Take a look at this site, it might help! Have you ever calibrated your monitor? I had to do mine when I bought my Canon IPF 8000, I print directly from Corel X-3 with no problems regarding color.

I don't know of anyway you can do that in Corel, but if you go to http://www.oberonplace.com/draw/drawscripts/index.htm or http://macromonster.com/ you might be able to find a Macro to do that for you. I have never looked for one but you might find it. I have to ask why is it so critical to...

Are you looking to make a weed box around the text? If so just go to your shape tool and grab the square and click and drag the box to the size you would like it to be around the text, logo, etc.
