. I inquired about a bulk system for my 1204. Right now the cartridges cost $64 ea. Not too bad. Bulk system (OEM INK) would be nice. Find myself replacing loads of them. Especially magenta.

. I find my self at awe with the workload some of you have. X-cellent! I've been in the printing business for 31 yrs. Recently purchased a Mutoh & Graphtec & run around 6-10 orders a day. Combo of poster mounted on foam board & at least 4 banners a day. Vinyl lettering only 1-2 orders...

13 oz. I noticed that everyone here is using 13 oz. I run 15 oz. mainly worried that anything less won't last as long with windy days. Am I wrong or is this the standard weight (13). I charge $8 per foot. What are you guys charging? That price is without graphics. Thanks

Hey Mason I tried just opening eps file (logo) & placing it banner order & still shows the phantom box

Thanks Been using Illustrator since way back. For simple text. Now that we are doing banners & posters I'm learning what this program can really do. Thanks for info.

We have an issue where we place a eps file in Illustrator, when we are printing the banners it shows a ghost box that was part of the original image. We tried to embed it, but it still shows it. ANyway of preventing this? Thanks in advance

1204 here I believe I had something similar happen a couple of weeks back. We ended up changing the black ink & it fixed it. It was brand new 1, so didn't think that was a problem & ended up being the problem. We ran 3 retangle test patterns after changing black. Each pattern got better.

Price Check on Mutoh ink I'm at $64.99 for eco-solvent. What are the prices out there by you guys?

I hear ya! I had an Encad 880 I loved that I ran two up all day. Problem was, it wasn't outdoor ink. X-partner & ( Y ) me went to see a demo on a Canon machine. At the time no knowledge about this stuff at all! We saw this mermaid being printed on the 880 & said we want that one...Like...

Is there a way to be able to change the default settings on flexi software to be able to use the whole 50" media. I would like to run 2up of 24x36 posters. Settings won't let me change the width on Flexi. Just would like to get an inch of space to get a full 24" print. If I send to print...

2 late now I truly believe that he didn't have a 64" available at the time of purchase. Not mad cause I'm still making money on my unit. Only thing that gets me is I do lots of 24" x 36" posters & cause of the size restrictions. I can only run one up SUCKS!
