  1. Anyone cutting magnetics on Graphtec FC series?

Magnetic material is made of clay and will dull the blade real fast. If you could do it, use an old blade. I think the thingthat worked best was to cut through the vinyl and finish it with a blade by hand. It may even break off once the surface is scored.
  2. Weekend sale, Save??????

Some errors in the prices in the sale have been brought to my attention. They have been corrected. This sale is 25% off of the regular forum prices. Previous sales have been referencing the list price. The forum price is close to 50% off the list price.
  3. Weekend sale, Save??????

Foreign orders will not show shipping cost. I would advise that any orders outside the US send me an e-mail with your order and I will bill you for the entire amount. This will make it so that you only need to pay once. Cheryl's shipping was less than $5. Hardly worth the time for either of...

  5. Need help for cleaning a Mimaki JV3-130SPII ( Stored without cleaning???)

The heads are easy to to clean. You should not have to replace them. I cleaned out 2 machines that had been stored so long that the ink in the dampers was dried up. We estimate that they were stored in a barn in Oklahoma heat for 1 to 2 years before moving them to a heated building. They set...

  14. Rockhopper 3 65" aka Flacon

Are you using it continuously or does it set for a day or 2 between uses. The cross contamination could be from setting too long between prints. There is a clip that holds the head in the home position. If it gets bent too far downward it can keep the head from going to the home position. It...

  17. which vinyl manufacturer is best or worst?

 I'm sorry if some people saw my comment as an attack. I didn't mean it that way. I know there are some that will get the Big Squeegee and give it a try and use it for things that are of their own wild imagination that have nothing to do with mounting vinyl. Fortunately, I have...
  18. Drytac Jet Mount Laminator

I'd get a feel for how much I was going to use it before investing heavy into it. The economy is pretty iffy at best and that extra payment may lay pretty heavy on your budget somewhere down the line. The Big Squeegee will do the job for you. It will give you a feel for how much you will...

  20. first post...and a doosie

There is a little clip that holds the head in the home position. If that clip gets bent so the head cant go all the way to the home position, it will give you an error. Pull the cover off and put a wedge in the cover limit switch. Adjust the clip so that it will hold the head in the home...
