Are you using any colour management software and making your own profiles? From time to time I here different people saying they can't hit certain colours on there printers, the olnly colour I had problems with was a green that almost looked like day-glow green, but after making a few...
Inks for a JV3 sp are good 30 days after they expire, but there are ways to get them to work 120 days without messing with the firmware. Call who ever you bought them from and talk to there tech.

I still run my 4b at least 3 days a week cutting just numbers.
And yes I have the latest technology to. The 4b might be old
as dirt, but It comes in handy for certain things.
It's not like you really need that tiny led display to begin with, couldn't you just do without. My Gerber 4b did that years ago, I used a can of spray air and a small vacum and that worked for me.
Not sure what software your using but in Flexi pro theres a button called picture cut, if you convert a picture into vector you can cut it in the form various lines and it will look like the picture, it's not for up close viewing though.
I still have my 4B, and It's been running sence 1982 to date. I put in the swivlle blade and holder in to make it cut twice as fast. (it's still slow as a turtle) compared to the other cutters I have today.
Not true,
6 years ago I bought a Mutoh Tucan solvent printer, came with 3rd party bulk inks from day 1. It's the company that sold it to you that gives you the warranty.
