It has to due with the micro voltage being out of tolerance with factory settings. From what I can gather from the service manuals you MAY be facing the possibility of replacing the main pcb board. Usually a trained service rep will be needed.

Switches the switches in question are electronic. They can be opened and closed from inside the service menu, available by using the control panel on the front of you machine. You will need to get into the service mode.
