  1. Sweet Chrome Wrap

Who makes this "cast chrome vinyl'? I want to use it to cover the plastic switch bezels on my MG dash. The plastic chrome is way too easy to damage on the original and replacement bezels. I've only ever seem mylar/polyester(?) chrome film. It didn't work for the bezels. Couldn't get it to conform.

  4. Do It Yourself Vacform Machine [VIDEO]

I'll drag it all into a pile over the weekend. I haven't used it in a while. I used it to make thousands of parts for small model airplane kit manufacturers (including myself) before the hobby died.

A bit too Rube Goldberg for me.
  6. Do It Yourself Vacform Machine [VIDEO]

Here is a link to a kit for a simple diy vac-former. Still more complicated that mine. I like to keep things simple. http://www.phlatboyz.com/Phlatformer_p_10.html

Me too. I went with a slightly less complicated design. Any idea what I could make with the thing that people would pay money for?

  10. Growing my business

Great! Keep the sand away from it or you'll need a new one.
  11. Growing my business

Sandblasting sucks. It's really nasty. You'll get sand stuck in places you didn't know you had. I hate doing it. Especially if it's hot. I'd sub it out if I could. Buy a router instead.
  12. Plotter cutting random notches

My guesses: Wrong blade, bunged up holder or off set's wrong. Could also be off gassing, static electricity, demonic possession or poltergeists. What have you tried?
  13. Do You Kern?

Yeah...... that's it.... Second Century Canadian. :Canada 2:
  14. Do You Kern?

Cringe away. Here we see a section of Emperor Trajan's column with the interesting bits circled. Apparently they were a little more flexible with their kerning in the second century.
  15. Logo Re-design

Like to see you embroider that on a shirt! :Big Laugh
  16. Logo

    Yup.
  17. Computer gurus - attack!

We're funny... you're a knob... I can live with that.
  18. Logo

I'd ditch the big arm altogether. At least half the population (Women) will avoid that gym if it's for muckle heads.
  19. Logo

Crikey! That's one scary woman! (or is it a dude?)
  20. Do You Kern?

One with the words, is she.
