  2. new logo... after some hard thinking and a little advice ;)

As mentioned all these designs are bad, lots of problems. You already made the change, but the lower case "g" was hard to read and the "s" in signs was very hard to read, looked like a "D" to me. You should really invest in a few good books so you could learn the basics of good logo design...
  3. Roland giving some money back ?

Maybe? We don't know the answer, you are claiming that something is WRONG with your printer and it is NOT cutting correctly, so we are giving you ideas to get your with your present orders finished, so you quit wasting all that material until you find out what's wrong. I don't know if in...
  4. Roland giving some money back ?

The OP is pig-headed and likes to fill up his trash can! Many, many of us have tried to help him, giving him different solutions, but just like the old saying, "you can lead a horse to water, but can't make him drink." The OP insists on filling up his trash can and wasting lots of ink...
  5. Roland giving some money back ?

I have read the whole thread and I understand about your problem, and know you need to EAT, however, if you keep going as you are, filling up the garbage can with printed and laminated materials, you will soon not have any money for food! You need to stop being so wasteful, and one way is to...
  6. "No Guns Allowed" logo design challenge

Yep, The bad guys don't abide by signs or rules, or the law for that matter. The bad guys don't register their fire arms, and never will, they deal in the back allies and purchase stolen fire arms with the serial numbers removed. Only honest upstanding hard working people like yourself...
  7. "No Guns Allowed" logo design challenge

Yep! These shooters are big men shooting unarmed kids and teachers, I'm pretty darn sure if they were getting return fire from just ONE armed teacher on campus, sending lead at the shooter, he would not have killed as many as he did (duck and cover)..... :thumb:
  8. USB to Ethernet Adapter

Not exactly what the thread is about, but when I installed my Roland printer I wanted it on the other side of the room from my computer so I needed to run a 50' CAT5 cable in the wall behind the computer, up over the ceiling and down the other wall (didn't want the cable on the floor). I also...
  9. Roland SP540V Wipers

I know what you mean about the Roland wipers, looking at what they are the price is way over rated. I contacted several of the suppliers of the generic wipers and was told they did NOT have the felt backing, just the rubber type material. Also, some of the cheaper ones are NOT solvent...
  10. Oracal 3850 Series Translucent Vinyl

:goodpost:All good points above, I highly recommend using Rapid Tac application fluid for Oracal 3850. I use a microfiber covered squeegee saturated with Rapid Tac fluid to eliminate surfaces scratches.

  17. To Laminate or not-window perf continued

Ok, lets put it like this: If you play the lottery your chances of winning are one in a million (or whatever), however if you don't play the lotto, your chances of winning are "0" !!!!! You have a better chance of warranty recovery if you follow the manufactures recommended installation...
  18. Sign Reveal Pulldown

Yep, I would use the cheap BLACK PLASTIC mentioned above, you could even put a few grommets along the top to aid in securing the black plastic to the top of the sign and then pull out the rope (twine) that would be running thru the grommets to reveal the new sign as the black plastic falls off...
  19. To Laminate or not-window perf continued

I believe that, cause when I was in a sand storm south of Phoenix driving back to Texas, my entire windshield was pitted and had to be replaced, not to mention the paint job on the front of my Blazer! :omg:
  20. New Member ... looking for advice on a printer die cutter for small runs.

If I am correct, your picture frame is made from the end of a ski, and the pointed end is turned up (not flat), if this is the case, I don't think you will be able to print directly on the curved wood frame. Most direct substrate to printers must maintain a specific constant distance between...
