I did just inspect above the left magenta damper, and there appears to be an air bubble in that line. Does that tell anyone anything by chance?

I'm hurtin bad in the printer world. I've intermitantly not been able to print random colors from time to time (CMYK X2) and normally if I do an ink fill or extended cleanings, I can always get them back. Monday I came in, and didn't have any magenta on one side, so did a bunch of cleanings...

I know this is an old thread, but I need to know this same information...the function/remote option isn't working for me for some reason. Need to open the solenoid to draw ink manually. Any other tips? Maybe I'm just doing something obvious totally wrong.

So glad it's just me in my shop. I've seen other family members lose their minds dealing with this same stuff. There's way's to correct it, sure...but man, my life seems so simple when I read some of this stuff.

I don't know if there's any rules as far as materials that you can use, but we've used the PhotoTex Hi-Tack stuff, and it holds well, installs nice, and seems to be fairly affordable.

Ugh, I live in this exact same nightmare. I've tried everything under the sun and it will randomly work for like a month with zero issues, then all at once, every day for a week I'm totally missing a color like your test prints.

Hey Dale, just a thought...maybe some kind of a universal wall mount that we could purchase? I'm sure I could hack something together to hold all my squeegees, but so far I think I've had them about 8 years or so, and haven't. I'd like some kind of a wall mount rack that I could keep these...

Ordered a cap. Hopefully it gets here sooner than later and I can wrap this thing up. UPDATE: Also did a little cleaning around the cap with a swab (which I've really never done I guess) and it seems to be printing good....for now.

Now I got the magenta back, and the yellow on the left side is totally gone.

Dampers are all new as of probably March, so I'd probably suspect that last. I haven't ever messed with the printer much myself, but I'll look into the cap top situation.
