  1. Wholesale aluminum signs

Yep...Signs2Trade all day long. You'll have to talk to them about the custom size, but I'm sure they can do them for you. Amazing company. Keith has a great crew.
  2. Where do I get one of these? PVC Cutter? YouTube video...

That US Cutter job is pretty slick. I'm probably going to just get a 96"+ one, and then a smaller one. They've all got uses. Don't know how I went 10 years owning a shop without one.
  3. Where do I get one of these? PVC Cutter? YouTube video...

So if I call someone to order one, what's it called, just a Mat Cutter?
  4. Where do I get one of these? PVC Cutter? YouTube video...

I have been looking for one of these, but have no idea what they're called, or who sells them. No info on this YouTube page. Can anyone point me towards one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4mOJlEZ_-I
  5. Hey Fellers and Montroy.

This is interesting. I have mixed feelings if they've "always" sold to anyone...but I don't think that's how this relationship should go. I have always been pretty loyal to Advantage, and was JUST about to start ordering at least my inks from Fellers, but I'm rethinking supporting something...
  6. NEED hardware for street lamp banners (30 of them)

All I can tell ya is don't buy the $60 ones from Fellers. They're horrible.
  7. $15 bucks.......................... wha....................

If you don't like the show, change the channel. I worked at walmart like 4 months in high school, hated it, and started looking for other opportunities. Worked a few different jobs the next couple years, and eventually a sign shop was for sale, I took a risk, got a loan, and now I'm in...
  8. Printing on DVD's?

I have all printable DVD's and the printer to do it, just seems like it takes like 2 minutes to print one, and I'd be here forever doing it. I'd be better off using a "CD Stomper" method probably if I can't print them on my vinyl somehow.
  9. Printing on DVD's?

I am converting some 60+ 8MM tapes to DVD for my parents this Christmas. I am making copies for my sister, and both sets of grandparents, and figured I might as well have a set for me since I went to all the bother of making the masters. My question is, do you think I could print on some...
  10. yea? so we have a mayor who smokes crack!!!!

This video made me get out my Black Sheep DVD and watch it last night.
  11. Phototex

My ink grabs on this stuff really well, I can't even scratch it off with my fingers without tons of scratching. Is there a setting that these are going to be getting so much abuse that you need to laminate them?
  12. Vector conversion..

    +3. Use him weekly.
  13. Street Banner Woes

All good thoughts. I'm going to reprint it and just suck up the cost. This wasn't for the city but the city had to hang it. I do feel if it was installed right I'd have been fine, but I'll go all out to keep people happy and it's no huge deal to me. I believe in making things right. I'll...
  14. Street Banner Woes

Ok, so I make it out of 18 tomorrow in an emergency, and they hang it the same way...it's going to hold up that much better that it can be installed with nothing supporting the bottom to spread out the load, and it'll last?
  15. Street Banner Woes

Just did my first street banner. It was 4' X 15'. Did it out of 13oz material, and had grommets every foot. My intent was for the "installer" to run cables top and bottom and zip tie each grommet to the cables. I just got a call from the customer and apparently, the city (aka installer) just...
  16. Hardhat Decals

On helmets I've always gotten by fine with regular Oracal 3651. Even on stuff that's not real grabby, that stuff seems to do well. I did a bunch of trash cans that we put a logo on earlier this year, and we used the Oracal 3951HT I believe. That stuff was amazing. It grabbed like no other.
  17. 24"Wx36"H real estate sign frame

It's not something that you could do with a SigniCade by chance is it? Those are that size.
  18. Post "YOUR" business logo

  19. Wrapping a Helmet... with a drum

Oooooo...that'd be creepy. Maybe two of them just to hang up side by side...then fill in the tops of them with glow in the dark just to freak me out a little more. Then again, they could also be confused for a set of breasts if you aren't careful.
  20. Wrapping a Helmet... with a drum

It's got to be one of the easiest ways to do it, if there is an easy way. I picked up a plastic 55 gallon drum from a friend to try it, but I still haven't ever done it. I'd think anything that wasn't totally smooth would still suck. I wouldn't EVER try anything but a totally abstract design...
