  1. The secret to happiness!

I set my "happiness" bar a little higher than that. The reason your plan wouldn't do much for me, is because I'm rarely stressed doing sign work. Its a rare occasion that I have a "rush" job. It happens, but I try to make sure it dosen't happen too often. When it does, I'll bring in...
  2. Impossible Deadline?

Thanks for checking in.....whew. I had this mental picture of you, face down on your desk....signs101 flickering on the screen....drool running into your keyboard....and the time in the lower right corner of your screen at 11:02. :ROFLMAO:

  5. Cortisone Shots

    Thats impressive.
  6. Cortisone Shots

I've never had cortizone, but I have had a total of 32 steroid injections in my back. Let me tell you about fun. These epidural shots are administered between the vertibra. Whats more fun, is when they hit a nerve or the bone, (while they tilt this way and that AFTER the needle is all the...

:help Sure!!!!! Knock yourself out dude.
  8. My wife just showed this to me ....

As terrible as that is, I've seen much worse. How sad is that? I was at the mall last week working on some channel letters, when I saw this van lettered with duct tape & black electrical tape (a 2 color job). Damn if the battery on my cell phone camera didn't die. I was sure that pic...
  9. lettering a canvas awning

I have a customer that would like me to letter this "removable" portion of their awning. This is in a strip mall. The size is 19" tall x 15ft long. The material is canvas. So what are my options? I could use heat press material, but that would require me to remove the intricate webbing...

So where's the pic of the dessert? Such a tease.
  11. The best 100 ways to tell a customer you're not interested

Its a psychological thing.....People always want the most, the things they can't have.
  12. Gypsy Graphics...

If the thread was about anyone else, it would have gotten 3 replies and 99 views. :ROFLMAO:
  13. Gypsy Graphics...

Yup. I'm thinking it would have been more interesting to ban a few people. :ROFLMAO: This thread is like watching the fireworks on the 4th of July.....and after 4 pages, they have no "Grand Finale".
  14. The best 100 ways to tell a customer you're not interested

Picking your nose while talking to the customer works. Pull out a big gooey one in front of them, and I bet you wouldn't have to say anything.
  15. Gypsy Graphics...

    its all clear now.
  16. Gypsy Graphics...

time to spill your guts GG. As Paul Harvey would say....."And now, the rest of the story". Thats the part we need, the rest of the story. Ehemmmm
  17. First "professional" sign you made.

How true. Kinda like you aspiring to be as good as OP with a brush?
  18. First "professional" sign you made.

Was a 4x4 hand carved sign. Prior to that sign, I had only carved for pleasure. Then one day a friend of a friend asked me if I could carve a SIGN. And here I am today. If I had kept carving signs, today I would probably be as good as MrChips or Signmeup. (gotta love those cnc routers...
  19. Greetings From Pennsylvania

    Welcome from NW PA
  20. Dan Striker

Being that your first post said, "shot by a CRAZY neighbor", I'll assume this wasn't an accidental discharge or a stray bullet. Thanks for the update "Sign Dude". I'm sure "the rest of the story" will be an interesting one. Just glad Dan is doing well. I bet Dan dosen't let his dog poop...
