Well that's helpful to know. Maybe you should post in that "5 things you didn't know about me" thread. Then I'll know six things about you that give me insight.
Let me say in advance of this idea... only kidding!
How about, a Sign from God. Even He would think that was funny.
I haven't been a member here long, so I don't know anything about you personally that would give me a good direction for a name. I went to your profile and didn't see anything personal. So, what I know is your a guy from Lancaster that makes signs.... so maybe your a SignCaster. I can imagine...
Are you attached to the name? Not sure I care for it, only because the two things that come to mind are that cold remedy drink EmergenC (or something to that affect); and the other, Emerge sounds as if you've come from a "not so good" place. I'm sure by definition that's not correct, but even if...
Glad you mentioned that, I'd only looked at the first one. The second image is really outstanding!!!! You carried the look from the RV so nicely and without just duplicating it.
Your client must have been thrilled.
1. I think if it's not fun or funny, what's the point
2. Have no interest in meeting any actor or tv personality (with the exception of Craig Ferguson, because I think he'd be fun & funny)
3. Favorite movies, Shawshank Redemption, Stranger Than Fiction & Inglorious Bastards
4. Only went out...
I say trust your gut! I don't think you sound paranoid, you sound like a pretty good judge of character.
I recently pulled out of a job, just as the deposit was about to be sent, after a phone call that threw up a few red flags. It was for multiple website designs and would have been a nice...
Right handed. Can't write my own name legibly left handed, but can effortlessly write backwards (mirror image) with my right hand. A teacher/nun once told me "there something wrong with you" when she caught me writing a quick note to a classmate. My friend would take the notes to the bathroom...
I don't like many TV personalities but... but I love Craig Ferguson! He's the funniest guy on TV.
Out with some gal pals... we were doing that stupid "who would you most want to be stranded on an island with" thing... mine was Craig Ferguson.
I told myself I wasn't going to come back to this thread again after reading Biker Scout's post. Well I made it nearly 6 hours and now here I am spending my lunch break reading all the new posts. Although I already put in my two cents, I've got a whole dollar burning a hole in my pocket, but...
Look for a local college that offers extension courses. I think most extension programs are taught by working professionals. They offer an advantage that you won't get from an instructor who spends all their time in a classroom and not in a work environment.
There are so many members on this...
I just paid $577 for the Oracal 970 RA, matte black (60"x25 yards).
You might also want to consider Hexis HX20000 flat black with air release. The Hexis is a truer flat black and absolutely beautiful, more so than the Oracal. I purchased the Hexis for $330 (54"x33 yards), but the finish wasn't...
It appears 3M is in agreement with every other member who posted.
It took a few days to hear back from them but their response was:
With all 3M Films that are designed and used for vehicle wraps, the warranty of the finished film is void if an overlaminate is not used.
I suppose you could...
Okay so here's the plan, I'll start with the wet sand and if it's not smooth enough, buff with fast cut rubbing compound. I'm guessing after that the degreaser wouldn't be necessary (but couldn't hurt) and finish with a alcohol rub down. Then do another test to see how the well the vinyl sticks...
I tired a piece of 3551 RA, and it stuck. And by "stuck" I mean is it didn't fall off, but it defiantly didn't have the bite it should and came off too easily. But that's without doing anything to the fiberglass yet, no decreaser or alcohol. I didn't want to start messing with it till I got some...
If I were putting money on it, I'd say "not capable," but I think it'd be fun to say I did it myself. I'll take my time, my husband will get frustrated watching me and then I'll call a body shop.
Here's a picture of my plastic couture gauge. I have a metal one too but it's only 6 inches and the...
