We use them once or twice a year on our Mimaki printers, depending how much printing we do during the year, or when we go off on holidays.

Dont turn it completely off, it wont dry, may not even print right

No its not normal, But then again I'm not sure with the Rolands. Theres only have 7 pinch rollers on a Roland printer

Try Triangle inks

I'm not sure what a 540-XC is, but if it's a cutting plotter it's normal to see track marks on the 2 end pinch rollers. On our cutter you can ajust the tension....

Yeah I use to just use Flexi Pro when I use to to print with my CJ-500, and had the same problem you were having. Then my tech told me to use colour choice and that fixed the problem.

I told you before, and I will tell you again, Install colour choice. Problem gone.....

You can buy vinyl from China, next to nothing "if" you by it by the truck load. But then again it's probably the cheapest stuff you can get. I saw at one of the major sign shows, a China company offering digital banner media 14oz., 10 rolls for the price of 1 roll of say Ultraflex sold here...

I have the 160 and the belt looks brand new the cutter is almost 2 years old. Your belt almost looks like it was melted
