If they are screenprinted decals such as from Stouse then they may have a clear polyester laminate. This laminate is very rigid unlike vinyl (PVC) lam films.

Do all you "Professional Vinyl Installers" realize that vinyl installers were installing vinyl for decades prior to the introduction of lam films and air eggress adhesive? Golly geepers, we don't know how to install that vinyl. :ROFLMAO:

IMO hammer drills suck, for clean consistant hole drilling in concrete I prefer to use a "SDS rotary hammer". Unlike sign substrates you can take a trip to your local Home Depot and pick up a descent rotary hammer for a very reasonable price...
