G-artist, You are, quite simply, terribly wrong. This is similar to the situation a few years back where some old lady was purchasing NFL team t-shirts and then stuffing them, sewing up the arms, neck, and bottom and selling them as pillows. The NFL shut it down FAST. I'm not going to spend an...

  4. CD jacket design

OK final (hopefully) revision here. Definitely want to keep the logo a background element on the back - so the way it is now (white, at 30% opacity) works. Rotated the logo, and scaled the TV stack down about 5%...
  5. CD jacket design

OK - made a few more changes - Really didn't like the deep maroon for the logo on the back, so left it pretty much as-is. Made the changes to the front though - thoughts?
  6. CD jacket design

Jill, OK - suggestions taken and implemented - plus a couple of new thoughts on my end. Whatcha think?

  8. CD jacket design

OK... Played around a bit more - what about this?
  9. CD jacket design

Well - the logo is pretty set. We've been branding with it for a while, and a re-brand would cause some issues that i don't think we are ready to take on yet. So, I tried something a bit different with the design on the right. Thoughts?
  10. CD jacket design

I agree on the left and middle ones Rick. Do you think it overpowers the right one as well? With it being the image on the static-y TV?
  11. CD jacket design

Hey guys - working on a CD jacket design for my band's new EP. We are just doing sleeves, so only a 2 panel. Here are the three I have come up with. Also, the titles are just placeholders. We haven't decided on a project name yet. This fold in the middle, so the image on the right is the "front"...

DO NOT USE 3551 for a Sprinter. You WILL have failures. Gary

First - use 380, not 180. Second - TAKE YOUR TIME. Personally, I've never used the magnet technique because I've seen what it does underneath (ugh). With 380, you can stretch it pretty good and with the right amount of heat it shoudl work just fine... Gary
  14. Wholesale Decals

I called you an idiot because your post made you appear as such. You said "I sell decals like he does on my website". If you looked at this website, and then made this statement, followed by your other statements, then you are an idiot. It would be akin to me saying "I play basketball like an...
  15. Wholesale Decals

Depends on the agency who owns the copyright. For example - the NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA are HARD CORE. If someone is making a profit from selling their images, then you damn well want their piece of those profits. Other licensors - who knows. You've got to research it and ask all the right...
  16. Wholesale Decals

Even if the company you are buying them from has a license to sell them, that license does not transfer on TO YOU. YOU don't have the right to profit from those images - because you do not have a license. Gary
  17. does this suck

First one isn't too bad, but I would change the font on the AEY part. it looks a little too "bubbly" for my taste... I'd also consider condensing the "FLOORING", and keeping it totally "under" the guy rolling carpet. Also, thicken it up slightly. Gary
  18. Wholesale Decals

If you are looking for just very simple, royalty-free stuff, there are a TON of vector clip-art packs out there. I'd start by doing a google search for "Vector Clip-art Pack". That should keep you busy for a while :) Gary

If you are looking for answers then i am 100% willing to help. When you chime in supporting a moron then I'm going to slap that sh** down as fast as I can. If you want info about licensing a specific logo for re-sale purposes, then your best bet is to contact the marketing department of the...
