I would charge $50 just to make a mock-up sample of the ribbon. As others have said, it can be made but you would need a slip roller machine to fabricate with metal. You could use 1/4" acrylic and heat in oven till pliable. For what your getting, $50, just keep it flat and print it on.
I reread your posts but did not see where you mentioned the thickness of the polycarb you are using, 1/8", 3/16", 1/4"? You can "break" (put a bend in polycarb) with heat but you need a good heat strip to do a good job, and 48" is a big heat strip. You would have to get straight bends for the...
It started out as a story from the sales department on some real estate company and turned into extraneous detail, rambling and verbose explanations from Toad and kcollinsdesign. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed reading it all. Of course, I like reading about why Wombats leave distinctive squared...
Call Fellers, James is telling you to use black cast vinyl (Avery, 3M or Oracal) and use Substance heavy lam over the black cast.
I like the printing of the black as your best option, but if you do not have a printer.....
Rarely screen print anymore but I used the indirect films or capillary films as some call them. Faster drying times with large screens.
But as the OP was asking about the dryer he showed. It looks as if it would work fine. And as the other poster talked about making his own would also be a...
Are you looking to dry your screens after you put your indirect or direct emulsion on. Looks like it would work great for small screens for speeding up drying. I use large screens and just put a fan on them when I place them in a vertical rack.
To each his own, but if you have a good talent and a extra wad of cash. Why in the world would you buy someone elses' business, unless it was a real low price. I agree with others on here, customer loyalty is a fragile relationship.
That's like marrying a previous married women. Because she has...
The great Benny Hill was asked why he wore a pith helmet in the jungle and he replied because it protected him from the monkeys pithing down on him from the trees.
How the story played out in Rick's mind: He drives up in his Range Rover Evoque, walks up in his Georgio Armani suit with ostrich skin cowboy boots, diamond cluster pinky ring and the family friend leans into Rick's mother's ear and says with a whisper "ay, chihuahua! what does Ricky do for a...
Neato: if you want to call yourself a designer or creative then do so. Don't worry about what bob tells you.
You are not going to win an argument with him, you are not smart enough, he is a word designer.
I like the labels but I thought Tea in Long Island was rum, tequila, gin, triple sec and cola. Should have been a parrot on a Captain Morgan's shoulder.
Design, strange word. Usually when you put "de" in front of a word it means to remove or reduction. Like in Photoshop they have a dehaze tool. Or, the word destroy or debunk. So adding de in front of sign would leave you with nothing on the sign. Now if I spent hours designing a sign and ended...
