just out of curiosity, why is it an infringment for the guy that designed the wrap to reproduce it on the wrap, but its not an infringment for cptcorn to reproduce it on this website. merely just wondering as it to me would seem like the same thing.

thats a 48" printer. in bidirectional mode, it will print 47.24" (1200mm). 47.99" (1219mm) in unidirectional. but it will never print 50". you need a 1304 to print what you need. sorry for the bad news. welcome to s101.

its a calendared product and it doenst have removable adhesive. i would recommend against it. use the right media for the job.

man. what a day that poor guy is probably having. what he did was clearly wrong. but more than likely a product of ignorance, not malice. all in all, he should fess up, talk to the customer, remove the wrap, make amends to the artist and the customer, redesign the wrap and redo it for free...

looks good. just a lot of tenting and heating in. we find this causes a lot of lifting in the channels. you should wrap into the channels and if you are going to heat and go in, invest in the proper 3M tools (VCat, rollers, etc) rather than fingers.

gel coat is a high energy surface. it will stick to it better than the paint.

heh, i wasnt going to say it, but we did the forklift thing too. heh. whew... it wasnt just us. the boat we wrapped in the water was a weird deal. it was for a client that was RICH. and was waiting for a paint job, but needed wrap to cover up the work being done for nothing more than a boat...
