If you've never done it before have your local window tint specialist do it. Seriously, they have all the tools and know all the tricks. You'll have more stuck in materials, waste and Advil then it's worth.

People nowadays have the attention span of a gnat. If they can't find the information pertinent to them instantly they're gone.
I can't remember the exact times, but it's a wonder...
You designed it, they approved it, you got paid. IMO it fits the area and the response has been positive. That is all that matters. Hopefully it brings more work your way.
Full bleed creates issues also. But here's something noteworthy. Use Oracal 651. Yeah yeah I know it's not supposed to be used for that, but it works with minimal shrinkage. Actually had a client tell us about it. His former supplier went out of business so we got the call and he spec'ed...
One of our regulars called and said the drive thru menu board blew away could I fix it? So I drove over, measured, and sent a bid. This is where it gets into WTF territory. Get a call two days later and got told: Another guy is doing it. Came in and said what we had is ugly and he can "fix"...

Sounds like they want the "unlimited" deal so charge accordingly.
Another PC fanboy got his knickers in a twist. Where did I bash? You did right off the bat. Besides implying that I'm an idiot. Nice going. God forbid something works better and longer with no issues. I was just relaying facts.
You act as if I have no clue which is far from the truth...
This happened many years ago:
Client had to have the EXACT match to a PMS code. Nothing else would do. period. So I called a manufacturer and they said sure, we'll do whatever you want. Minimum order is 12,000 square feet.:omg: Once I told the client he said: "How 'bout we snap open...
Must be transparencies in the file. Save as PDF 1.3 press Quality. Get into the sub-menu and uncheck Convert Strokes to Outlines. Should be good to go. There are excellent Youtube vids dealing with this.
