My name is Sylvain. I don't know if you would remember me by name but for sure if we met you would remember me. Man i'd love to see those pics! Harry was the best boss i ever worked for! That building is still standing but it has been bought a couple of years ago after Harry passed away. Marc...
Hahaha! Craig from ND ... How are you man? I used to work for Harry Koffman from 1988 to 2002. Glad to see you are doing alright:thumb:
Welcome to Signs101 from Québec!
If it's regular etched vinyl you need and not the frosty speckled type then go with the MacTac brand. It's half the price. It's thicker so its easyer to handle and i allways go ultra soaking wet when i install the stuff.
This storm will be in my area tomorrow. Supposed to be getting 8 to 12 inches. And guess what! .... I'm planing on going out to install!! ... We're just covering up existing signs so it's pretty easy work. If there is no wind and just allot of snow. It's actually quite relaxing and fun to work...
My fax is still in use. I receive allot of purchase orders and bidding requests through it. I had to keep up on the junk messages and phone the "remove from list" numbers. Nowadays i hardly get any junk from it and the little that i do i still use the other side of the page to write down info.
I'm ass-u-ming ... I know its not good to be prejudiced. But from my 21 years experience. You're looking at 14 to 21 year old mentality. I'll stand by my comment and if i'm proved wrong i'll eat my own words and appologize.
I think i speak for all of us in saying how infuriating this is! You know it's just one dumbass kid who will look to destroy it again once the new one is up.
Out of all the things we can think of to prevent this. ie: hole in the ground with spikes, bear trap, camping out with a shotgun...
JR - The only color i switched from 1 Shot is maroon. I now use Benjamin Moores oil based rust paint. Everything else is still 1 Shot, and i use allot of Brilliant Blue without any problems. Never used mixing black though.
Mind telling us the colors you used?? Like OP says. Maroon 1Shot just doesn't dry well on its own. I have switched brands when it comes to using maroon.
