Here is a thought, give a quote BEFORE you do them..I do this even with regular customers, that way there is NO SUPRISE and you keep a good customer happy!

If it is a full print coro would last longer... I would say it would depend on how much sun it gets, facing south or west 1-2 years, north and east 3-4 years.
I have always had Roland plotters (and early Gerber). One of my friends went to Graphtec...in five years he went through 3 of thier machines while I still have my original Roland (1993)..so this does not suprise me one bit.
Coro or PVC, you can punch grommets in either. We to both those
and also offer .040 aluminum. Some sponsors will pay more knowing
they will last longer.

A full color pic of a f-18 would be printed in about 30 seconds...and
look 1000 times better.
