I'd suggest spending 15 or 20 minutes to outline exactly what printer, what plotter, what OS, what type of registration marks, what procedures you follow, weather or not the plotter looks for reg. marks... basically just remember that dozens of people will read this & most have some knowledge of...

just say what real cheap is (plus 4 hr driving, & associated testing investments) because i'll bet there are a lot of real cheap plotters, with blades, already hooked up to computers to be tested by a seller who HAS used it & KNOWS it's condition

if you kept the original illustrator file, and only used the .pdf for the client... then you would make your changes to the .ai file & turn that into a new .pdf after making changes

I have a JV3 & have avoided any technique to use older inks for 4 years so far… but I last time I got old inks, and I have had slower sales & now I need 2 chips. Do you have ones for my 440cc SS2 ink cartridges? Mine look like this:
