I'd go with the Flexi option first (if it suports your printer). Dont spend the money unless you have to ... If you dont like your outputs by using Flexi then start looking at other Rip software.

With the exception of the 2 to 4 week period in january/february where nights dip below -40c and the daytime high doesnt get warmer than -25c i'd say yeah ... its not that cold ... LOL!:beer

Hows about paying 40k (cnd) for an SC-500 back in 2002. 8 months later the price droped to 25k. The printer, along with Flexi Pro set me back 60k (including interest). I got til march next year and then i am free of a 1000$ monthly payment. Woot woot!

I learned that photoshop filters are verry ram intensive. Would using high performance ram increase (or make any difference to) the speed photoshop renders filters or is that mostly dependent on processor, HD and MB speed.

I switched over to Max inks about three weeks ago (SC 500). Love em! Much briter colors than before, they dry allot faster to. Love the Roland profiles as well (Color Choice2). Id say, check your settings and calibration.
