    if it was baked, then 72 hours will be ok.Any continuing outgassing at this point will work it's way through the vinyl. if it wasnt baked than wait atleast 2 weeks, 30 days is better.You COULD still put them on after a couple a days unbaked and you may or may not have minor outgassing bubbles...

    Andy, it should be ok - the clearcoat is still catalyzed urethane ( in the U.S. anyway) even when waterbase colorant(basecoat) is used. The thing with any of these friction tools is to limit the heat created.Also it's still less risky than pressure washing IMO. just my 2 from my experiences.

  15. xtreme cutting mat is "xtreme" allright...

    update The replacement mat they sent me is much better. I gave it a few hours out in the sun, cooled it in place on my layout table with boards on top, and it is fine. Thanks again to Dave at Xtreme for a no hassle replacement. Also, thanks for everyone's suggested remedies.

    did ya ever look at all the coated screws and junk they came out with for the new wood treatment? phillips drives, square drives, torx drives,green,tan,gray, a vast array. the epa inadvertantly created a whole new market. and i'll bet that the production of all that coated stuff creates its OWN...
