Anybody have any experience with magbond or X-Base?

So the X-Base is a material you apply as a base, and then you can apply any PSA vinyl too? Do you have any samples you can send out? Is it eco solvent printable?

Have a customer looking for magbond prints. Went to their website, seems like some pretty nice material. Says UV and latex printable, but doesn't mention ecosolvent. Anybody ever use this material before? Is it ecosolvent printable? Or are there alternative materials that are. Any info on...

Does anybody know a supplier of anti graffiti lam sold by the yard or 10 yard rolls. We rarely use it, but have a job requiring about 7 yards x 54". I've checked fellers and grimco and didn't see anything by the yd or 10 yds. Any help greatly appreciated.

It worked! We measured how short the sensor was coming up to be 1". Divided that by the number of rows of decals, 15 and adjusted the size of the decal by adding .066667" to the height. Then loaded the new slightly taller decal into versaworks, entered the same quantity and tile spacing, and...

After it finds the front 2, it travels back for the back 2. It stops maybe 1-2" short and scans for the crop marks. When it fails to find the 3rd, it stops and the screen on the plotter reads cropmark error. If only there was some way to make it travel back further before it starts to scan...

Well, we tried adjusting the Y axis calibration to .25%, 2% and 5%. Didn't make any difference as far as where the sensor tries to read the crop marks. Anybody have any ideas?

Wow that test print looks very grainy. Could someone post up some pics of a well calibrated 360's output? I would have a lot of trouble trying to sell stuff that grainy.

What model do you have? Our xj540's take up works great. Unattended printing has never been a problem for us. Never tried an unattended double struck print before though. I've heard the take up on the xr's was a joke, but thought they got them straightened out?

Parts came in a half hour ago, 2 dampers and a fuse. Back up and running, printing 48' trailer wrap now. Gonna be a fun day tomorrow playing catch up. Thanks to those who chimed in to help.

Yup, ended up getting one at tractor supply.

Need to buy a syringe to pull ink after we replace the dampers tomorrow. Is there a certain size syringe needed? I should be able to find this at a pharmacy?

Probably a long shot, but would a roland gx500 plotter have one of these fuses in it? I could borrow it off the cutter until ours came in if radio shack doesn't have them.
