Was about 3:00 today. The guy made a mistake, then got defensive about it on here and apparently somebody got ticked at his attitude and turned him in (pure speculation). I just hope this lesson to us all doesn't destroy the guys business. Hopefully it works out, there's a lesson learned, and...
People use Google Images as their photo source every day. Half the stuff you see on wraps on this site can be rounded up if you do an image search long enough. It's become almost commonplace for me to get artwork from clients with Corbis or istockphoto watermarks on them or poorly photoshopped...
Well at least you've got that going for you.
I'm a hack, little more than a glorified type setter. Every stinking morning I spend half an hour cruising through design sites looking at simple, brilliant solutions to design problems and realize that I'd never have come to that solution.
I can not remember the current name of that piece of s*!t but it constantly shows back up under a different name. That's what started the disaster that cost me a hard drive last year. People like that need their testicles removed by dingos.
Meaning that when the gas tank is full it will be at one angle and when it's empty it will be at another because of the weight difference.
With that design they'd have come out much better, and cheaper, just doing the logo and lettering in cut vinyl and forgetting the background.
Now that doesn't make any sense. .50ml per square foot would give me 440 sq.ft. per cartridge. There are more than 600 sq.ft. in a 54" x 150' roll of vinyl.
Nevermind, I'm just gonna order two extra sets of ink and figure it out as I go.
Thanks for the help.
Okay, enough, stop with the messages and emails about how to figure if I can afford a printer. :ROFLMAO:
I subbed out about $22,000 (my cost) in vinyl printing last year and just barely made it over the threshold where the profits/cost analysis will justify buying a printer. Having a printer...
Man I miss those days. The day I was hired my boss told me to bring a book to read in the down times. I'd get so bored watching the thing cut I'd sit at the end of the table and weed letters as it cut them. We had notebooks full of XY command sheets and drawings of jobs so you could spend 30...
FIRST....I know that's the equivalent of asking "How much is a sign?" but bear with me.
I'm planning on finally pulling the trigger on a printer in June, more than likely a 54" Valuejet but possibly the new Mimaki a local dealer is pushing. What I'm wondering is how long the 220 ml cartridges...
