I have a buddy who is in the engineering for manufacturing field. He had a commercial grade machine demonstrator. It was Ok for prototyping, but definitely not at the production level yet.
It's possible the blue foil is hanging up a bit. Sometimes they get messed up and don't spool out smoothly. Try running the job substituting a different foil color for the blue.
You could do square tubes anchored to the masonry.
Or tech screws into the mullions, you just have to make sure you don't hit the glass.
The idea for a changeable banner system is nice too.
reminds me of one from long ago...a big condo project with many signs with lots of text, which was screen printed, expensive job... Gold metallic on white. Went through the whole rigamarole...but the architect knew more than us. It cost them quite a bit to have us go out there and hand outline...

and if you can find one both reasonably priced and reliable enough to show up. The problem I have had using install subs is they are mostly doing installs for other shops...
Buying the equipment doesn't necessarily mean making more money, unless you are committed to making sure it gets maximum use. Buying it is only the first cost, then the insurance, maintenance and training are added on top of that.

We can rent a tow behind pretty reasonably. The time to go get it and return it can add an hour to the job though. But given that, most shops charge $$$ for bucket trucks, so we can usually be fairly competitive for most jobs. But as has been said, it has to be a decent sized project to make...
