is your paint good n dry ? That's probably why it wont stick. i've done plenty of latex (usually glidden hi gloss) signs. in fact, i wont use oil based anymore. if you scuffed it up, just go ahead and recoat it and let it dry for a few days.

any body doing paint protection film? any opinions on template software or films?

5 drops of PLAIN dish soap in a quart spray bottle . I use "free and clear" - no lotions of fragrance in it. i have applied 15" wide stripes with no premask down the sides of vans floating them on this way. just dont let the paper get wet on the back of the decal or your screwed.

Ive been doing quite a few paint protection film installs lately, is any one else here??? If so, what template software are you using and are you satisfied? Ive been using XPEL . The price is alittle steep but of course they tell me they're the best and it's worth it, but Ive already found some...

i did a job where i screwed aluminum u channel onto the truck with pan head self tappers and slid alumilite panels in. Drill large hole in outer edge and smaller hole in inside edge of u channel.VHB tape on back of channel holds it in place. screw self tapper into body through inside edge hole...

if you can get it into flexi, you might do what i did - rasterize it, trace it ( the tree ) then get rid of the imported file and add your words. that's "Souvenir" BTW.
