When I reopened the forum earlier today I posted a warning that we were still running on an old database and that when we finally accomplished a restoration of the most current database any posts made in the meantime would be lost. So also was any post or new member from any time later than 4AM...

It was posted into a different database. Any post made after 4 am on Saturday has been lost.

Yes but they've been a plugin ever since I set it up originally. As a side note, it may interest you and others to know that I have never seen what it looks like because I don't have a smartphone. I rely on the feedback of other members which has been good ever since we set it up originally.

Not that I ever heard about. vBulletin 4 came out with their own smartphone extra cost add-on. Forum runner supports a number of competitive forums as well ... so I doubt that vBulletin owns them.

Yes. We tried Tapatalk first and there were two issues as I recall. One was their storing pics and other stuff off site and the other was a virus infection. We'll just stay with Forum Runner.

I see your point but I think the bigger problem is the tendency for government to take away everyone's rights in any given matter in order to resolve the bad behavior of a few offenders. It's easier/cheaper than imposing less harsh restrictions that deal with the specific issue and actually...
