I know I'd have a hard time vynulling that thing.
I think (if possible) I would project the lettering at night.
A paint mask would be no easier than applying vinyl.
You could use a pounce pattern too I guess.
I think after painting the red part I would wait a few days before doing the...
Hmmm.
I am thinking maybe a pressure washer would be a good idea too, after the sanding step to get rid of any dust/gunk etc.
I have some ancient Rustoluem signs out there so I can attest to its longevity. You might also want to give Ronan Speednamel a try. I was really pleased with it on my...
I have used VHB tape, #16 Weld-On (only works on certain substrates and once it sticks it sticks) also plastic rivets, which my auto body repair son put in for me, and silicone.
Not all on the same job.
I hate making these types of signs.

If you thinned down Bulletin Black from Sign DNA
it might be all right. I also changed the periods to circles.
This is straight from Corel.
FHA Modern Idealized Classic by the Fontry reminds me of it but is too thick and thin.

I really do not like the fonts at all.
They don't go together.
I would use something more upscale like Essendine for the golf club part and a pretty script for the name.
I do like the sign idea, I think it will look kind of neat when finished.
As for a golf theme, no, it's not needed...
That's a swell layout, George.
And I will certainly say a little prayer for your mom.
Don't forget to take care of yourself, too.
I get to paint two signs this week and am looking forward to it, it is very theraputic.

My ex hubby had a clock on which every hour was 5:00.
It mysteriously dissapeared.
:)
Just like he did.
OK I think the background stripes are detracting from it, along with the gradient in the font. I would try a thicker style like A&S Jiggy Roman, and also the wristwatch idea is cute...
Oops! Should have said for when I got home from my first ladder job after the surgery.
I am dangerous enough on a ladder as it is.
With a percocet in me I would just stare at the ladder.
Hope you recover as quickly as possble, Arlo, but not so rapidly that you go back to work before you have to.
The best part of having surgery is getting to go back home, then the meds.
I saved one last percocet for the day I did my first ladder job.
It's remarkable how they give you the...
The only person I know who would know is a sign painter. He could probably give you the 1-shot colors. Looks like Rubine Red (165L) with a hint of maroon, regular maroon (108L), and dark blue (158L).
