  1. One More Retro-themed Design

I like this one even more than the other one from today. I will look at this every time I see the Lowen ad <<< as sort of a virtual eye cleanser. Love....Jill

  3. Partial Wrap for HVAC company-

Ahhhh. That's my eyeballs breathing a sign of relief. Very nice to look at. Clean, lots of impact. What good advertising should look like, and also an excellent mock-up. Love....Jill
  4. Flat Black/Wet or Dry App?

I have to apply a factory-made decal to a pickup truck at my son's work. The decal is flat black material, masked, unknown brand. It is approximately 12"x15". I can apply dry, but am afraid of screwing it up. I have both Rapid Tac and RT2. Which is the best method? :thankyou: Love....Jill

  6. They know who you are by the fonts that you have.

Darn it now "they" will know how much porn I look at. :( Love....Jill
  7. ISA Show in Orlando 2010 - Friday Night Meetup

I totally want one of those glasses, they remind me of the old Beach movie "How to stuff a wild bikini". And I am in love with Fred's hair, it's gorgeous. Why do men always get the nicest thickest hair? I also have several shirts that match Craig's. Thanks for the pix!

  10. Pet peeves anyone?

Cell phones. Whether it's a customer who interrupts our meeting to answer one or I am being tailgated by some b!tch talking on one. Was at a bridal shower Sunday and one of the bridesmaids answered her cell and carried on a long conversation while the bride was opening her gifts, they were...
  11. New from Canada

Welcome from Sidney Crosby's other home town. (and careful about being a low cost sign maker) Love....Jill
  12. Speed

I'm with heyskull. All except the lunch part. I chose intake, it takes a long time to court the client sometimes. Second longest is approval, once I waited 18 months for a logo approval (paid in full up front of course) Next time that client took a mere three months. Love....Jill
  13. Need to re-do gold lettering on 10foot fibreglass apple

I saw that too but would worry if the water-based stuff would fade fast. Especially red. (there is a market near here called the golden apple, very hard to read sign, and my son calls it the rotten apple)
  14. Monument Sign suggestions

The fonts still don't flow well together, and there is not enough breathing room. Finally had a moment to throw together a mock up. These are LHF Stanford and Essendine. But A&S Valentino would look nice too. I used the color of the darkest brick as a background and the lightest as the...
  15. Need to re-do gold lettering on 10foot fibreglass apple

I used Ronan's Speednamel on my big sign. Not sure if it's available up there but I liked working with it. I had red hands for about a week afterward so I know it's durable.
  16. I'm Back!!!

I finally clicked the link. Dennis you look so bad ass! :)
  17. Houseboat sign critique

The rock on hands are hilarious. A border is a great suggestion Craig. Crazy Harold is an old fave free font.
  18. Need to re-do gold lettering on 10foot fibreglass apple

Yum! GG you just made my mouth water. Hey if gilding outdoors you will probably have to go with patent leaf. It's real easy to blow away a bunch of money's worth of loose leaf if a good wind comes up. Yes, I've done that. What about a white to cream fade on the name and cream on the subcopy?
  19. Houseboat sign critique

I like the cartoon beer and the new color but honest I still don't like that font at all.
  20. I'm Back!!!

Dennis! I missed you! Congrats on getting "signed". Love...Jill
