48" is a weird size. And don't forget even with our 54", the usable print area is about 51.5". With a 48" what do you get? 45"? I'd go for the larger printer. But a Roland instead of the Mutoh...lol

Not aware of any place within the RIP program itself (others may enlighten me) but when assigning fill colors, I just go 25,25,0,100 for a deep black. Going 100,100,100,100. would also work I suppose but why waste the extra ink. Also, that's a lot of ink going down. Might affect drying times.

Island, the font converter in Omega is TTF to Omega, but won't go the other way.

When you say "grainy" do you mean that the vectored lines have too many points? If that is so, I believe there is a "thin" option under Tools/Thin/then there's a dialog box that allows for settings. I believe 1.56 has that. We run 2.1, but that's what I remember. I'd fool around with that for...

Purchased Fantastic Fills, which is a library of .bmp textures. Tried for an hour last nite to figure out how to add them to my texture folder as a preset in PhotoShop 7.0. The default textures seem to all have .pat extension on them and these of course are .bmp. What am I doing wrong? Any...

Chris is correct. Ours is a Hiker brand. They are about 200 bucks. All of them will punch the grommet thru and fold it over in one step.
