ive tried printing on a few kinds of uncoated paper here (we have an art supply store thats adjacent) and it hasnt work at all...ink soaks in and is a mess.
just talked verizon into pushing up my upgrade date (again) and got us new Droid X phones....it makes my BB storm2 feel like a microtac 650....for real.

i love my 30" printer...ive had to outsource a few times, WAY less than the difference in price between the two.
its VERY affordable, media is as well...and i craigslisted an awesome ledco laminator for super cheap. im set up properly for a modest investment.
no regrets here...but i did...

could i use a ultra calendared (3551/ij35) and cast lam? no rivets, basic curves.
i dont want to cut corners but seems like a "waste" for cast wrap vinyl.
this is not a new truck but just got painted and need it to last.
my thought was ij35c/8519 would work fine.

thanks for the replies and advice. i honestly dont think i will pursue sign interests long term down there. will i sell my cutter? hell no. i can commute/mail enough work this winter to justify keeping it forever.
i do have this printer lease for a few years i have to contend with....ugh...
