    ive only had one issue with my VP300i and 3rd party inks caused it. unless your printer is running several hours a day...save money another way.

    ive never done it, but the team my bud works for has about 5 race cars and they are all done that way by a local shop. its pretty slick and the lam doesnt tent too bad at all. personally, when a tire hits the wrap it's gonna junk it no matter the order it's laid down. i dont laminate my own race...

    ive done ok this year...and plenty of the race car specialists in and around the surrounding states do quite well. its a niche and the ones that are GOOD at it have plenty of work and get real $$ for it.

    3165RA with 200..i tried some briteline recently cause its CHEAP. it tents worse than anything ive ever used. back to oracal next roll. i think i'll try 3651ra cause im sick of the thickness of 3165ra. i'd use ij35c if i could stand the stench of 3m in my little print room/office.

    i really like pr-42k in the Roland Color Library. its brighter than oracal 651 red and not too yellow.

    change is tough...esp for message board peeps. there's lots of menus and once they get hardwired...its hard to change. vbulletin is the BEST mb software in the world...v4 is the next logical step. we'll all get used to it!
  17. VP300 only printing 50 percent of yellow.

    the hose under the capping station was plugged solid. unplugged it, ran a super clean cycle and it's back to perfect. FYI: that was the ONLY color/cart of 3rd party ink i've EVER used. so..you do the math. for those that arent running their printers all day every day, stick to OEM inks...
