oracal has a super thin carrier..its a PIA. back in the day i used fdc laminate and it had a heavy paper backer and hand laminated with the big squeegee pretty well...did some 6ft long prints with good results. MUST have a good flat table too.

Roland spot color library..in versaworks. pr-42k is my fave. make sure "preserve spot colors" is checked off, and print. it uses a fair amount of ink but its gorgeous.
i have them around (due to racing and camping) a typical 4kw annoying open frame genset if needed and a cheap 2kw inverter for running the fridge and pellet stove etc. we dont usually lose power for more than a few hours.
if i had your situation i'd consider a pellet stove. I have a cheap one at home (999.00 tractor supply special) and it heats my whole house here in NH for about 2 tons a year (approx 4-5 hundred bucks). i rent shop space so and it has a little gas "fireplace" but its a small area.
I need to print/cut some truck doors on Friday. It has a couple rows of text. Hows the cast Vinyl/Lam going to do with smallish text? should i order 751 for the text and just print the main graphic?
This guy already had it done with terrible materials somewhere else so i want it to look great...
