  1. Will 1"thick Excel Expanded PVC Warp With Exterior Use?

What's the finished size of the entire sign ??
  2. Question Storage for Sheet Materials

We store most of our flat stock, flat. Built this 5' x 11' about 9 years ago. With the flatbed needing everything to stay as flat as possible, this seems to be the most obvious way. We can slide right out of that onto our feed rollers for the flatbed. We have many vertical bins for cutoffs...
  3. FDC Sign Question

I've never seen specs for a diamond shaped FDC sign in my life, til you said it. Not saying there aren't any, but after quite a few years of making them both ways,... reverse and not..... about a 12" x 18" or 24" is by far the most common. In that case, your 15" would've work. However, the...
  4. Grocery Aisle Signage

Take a piece of whatever you decide to use and compare it to what's in there now. Odds are, you can talk them into replacing everything so it all looks uniform. Nothing says a dirty store, than dingy looking signs aside of brand new ones. That will turn customers off rather quickly.
  5. Grocery Aisle Signage

That will yellow very quickly.... even inside. Consider 1mil PVC. How many do ya need ??
  6. FDC Sign Question

Not sure, how hard you tried, but just about any vendor in the USA will have 24", 30" or even larger in stock, but you need to pay for it. That sample looks like sh!t. How would you feel if every thing you bought was patched ?? Guaranteed, you'd be b!tchin'. Tell the customer, you simply...
  7. Another passing

    Very funny person.
  8. Eco-Sol MAX Ink (440ml cartridge) From Digiprint?

I almost always order 4 cartridges at a time. I keep a spare set and when one is needed, I just replace that one and so on, until I see the need to order 4 more. Since we got the flatbed, we don't use the Roland near as much. Ink consumption has gone down and digital vinyl, too. Still use it...
  9. Eco-Sol MAX Ink (440ml cartridge) From Digiprint?

I can't say for sure. If they don't say Roland DG Corporation on them, they hafta be 3rd party. The way they word that, Original Eco-Sol MAX is a remarkable innovation in ink technology. Building on Roland's award-winning eco-solvent ink, high-density Eco-Sol MAX..... doesn't necessarily...
  10. Liquid clear caot for Thermal Prints

Maybe, but we got it for hand-painting billboards, back when you'd hang or stand on a stage. We continued to get it through a billboard company as then there was no shipping fees. They bought skids every week.
  11. Eco-Sol MAX Ink (440ml cartridge) From Digiprint?

I don't see the connection ?? Those are reflective sign blanks.
  12. Eco-Sol MAX Ink (440ml cartridge) From Digiprint?

That is not Roland OEM. Can't be. It is some third party replacement. Otherwise, it would say it. The label looks different than the extra set I have on hand at the moment, unless they changed their packaging in the last month or so. That should be worded different. Very misleading. I...
  13. Liquid clear caot for Thermal Prints

The best thing we used to get was something called DANA clear coat. It came from California, but in the late 90's it got almost impossible to get. It's still available, but costs for shipping are more than the cans themselves. We used to get 12 gallons at a time. It didn't burn, yellow or...
  14. Liquid clear caot for Thermal Prints

I don't have an Edge, but we had a Roland pc 60 and 600. Basically the same idea. Just small; ribbones compared to your foils, but we used Frog Juice religiously and always liked the way it worked and made things pop. Changed over to Clearshield years ago, as I felt the Frog Juice went...
  15. Who do you guys buy your Flourescent -> LED conversion bulbs from?

Throw them on the neighbor's property. He runs over them with his machinery and grinds them into teeny-tiny pieces and ya can't see them anymore.............................
  16. Does anyone have good wrap design resources?

Nope, Cody sill has one left and can still outdo most other dogs, half his age. Here he is waiting for his noontime feed.
  17. Had to chuckle when I saw this...

Who cares about them ?? Their loss...... :roflmao: :clapping:
  18. Had to chuckle when I saw this...

    I just like happy endings.
  19. Best protection for ACM outdoor signs?

Color matching is something for the smart people. My input has to do with the original question. How long do you consider a long-term sign to last ?? For us, between flatbed printed or printed vinyl..... I don't consider either method a long term outdoor consideration. With a laminated...
  20. Does anyone have good wrap design resources?

I highly doubt that ever turned into a job. Looks more like a mock-up for advertising wraps. No one but another sign guy would ever be looking for all those mistakes, but it does catch your attention. I just don't like the safety glasses. That's dumb.
