Pricing software usually address's these issues. I use graphix calc. It has (order) size multipliers built in and you can edit/tailor them to your needs, therefore i can price accurately, and quickly. If you understand how size multipliers work you can build your own pricing scale.. or just...

We had over twenty jobs to redo from the avery failure... a few years back. Since then, we use 3m, FDC and Oracal with no problems. I would recommend all three. I'm downright Amazed that there is still trouble with avery vinyl. To the OP, When was the vinyl (that failed) purchased?

Yes, HP vinyl applied correctly will last for years (in most cases) yet still removes easily. I suggest Vertical surface only, on sunbrella. Sun will fade most colors around the lettering though.. some worse than others. Charge enough for the application.. it takes a while to do it...
