this morning when starting up the JV5, i got an error message when it initilizes/detects media, *error 49* cutter soleniod. Manual states to restart the printer to see if it goes away. After about 4 reboots, it seems to work now. Has anyone else seen this before? Is this an item that needs...

well i think i resolved the issue. the x direction encoder runs along the back wall of the JV5. cleaning both sides of that strip seems to have fixed my problem.

while printing this morning, my copies are getting blurry and are walking of the edge of the media towards the head home position. i eventually get a linear encoder error and the printer stops. the misregistration is in the direction of the head, like it is losing it's tracking after a few...
